Multnomah Jury Duty - how likely I'll be needed for 2 days?

Post Body

I have jury duty coming up in a couple of weeks (Feb 13) and planned around the date specified on the postcard. Unfortunately I just realized that it actually says you are expected to show up for 2 days, and I have some appointments already scheduled during day 2. The appointments are not important enough to ask to get excused, but I also would prefer not to reschedule them for various reasons.

What I'm trying to understand is how likely it is that they'll ask me to come in for a second day? From what I've read on this sub, seems like more often than not, people are excused on Day 1 and are not asked to come back for Day 2. Would appreciate any insight!

Edited to add another question: I have some important calls I'd like to join if at all possible during the day. If I'm in the room waiting to be called, would it be ok to join zoom calls as long as I'm muted and just listening in (and therefore not disturbing the peace)?
