Hi! I just had an appointment to establish care at Timber Dental. When I went in, it seemed normal (other than the fact that they took A TON of X-rays). Once I saw the dentist, he started quickly listing off issues with my teeth—gum recession, two cavities, wisdom teeth removal (I knew I needed that), and more. I was honestly a bit taken aback by this because I feel like I’m a pretty good brusher/flosser, and I’ve never had a cavity in my life. I had also been to the dentist only about a year ago.
They said that the cavities were ‘very deep’ and needed to be filled as soon as possible, which felt very alarming. They also said that I needed to be booked for a deep cleaning.
I booked the appointment, but now that I’m doing a bit of a deeper dive into reviews, I’m feeling hesitant to return and might cancel. Has this happened to anyone else or has anyone had a positive or negative experience? Let me know!
