I had to stay in one during the ice storm when my power went out last winter, I thought it would have a pool because the last Courtyard by Marriott I stayed at (I only stayed in a hotel 1 other time in my life) had one. I had a boring AF stay and I don't want to be stuck bored out of my gourd for 3 or more days again if the ice-ocalypse should happen again. I also was kinda in a panic/hurry and didn't have time to do much research on where I was going to stay because almost every hotel was practically booked because so many people lost power. This time....hopefully I can grab a room as soon as the power goes out and not wait until I am miserable after a whole day under a pile of 10 thick ass blankets crushing me with only a jar of applesauce to eat, but I want to also not be bored too.
