Where can I take a non-native baby squirrel?
Post Body

A baby eastern gray squirrel fell from my roof. I put them in a shoebox with a towel and they're back on my roof, near where they fell in the shade. I'm hoping mom comes to the rescue, but I saw her run by baby as they were screaming and rolling down the roof so I'm not totally confident that'll happen.

When I was at the Bird Alliance of Oregon (formerly Portland Audubon) someone else had brought in a non-native baby squirrel and they said the squirrel was going to be euthanized because they only rehabilitate native and migratory animals. Assuming mom doesn't come back (and I really hope she does) what should I do with baby?
