Affordable probate attorney?

Hello my father passed away recently and I need to find an affordable attorney for probate. My father's attorney quoted $7-8k. The estate owed a lot of debt and there will be little left after the house sells and debts paid. Does anyone have experience with probate in Oregon and can you recommend an affordable probate attorney? Thanks in advance
