Hey,
Bought a house a few months ago and had a heat pump installed. The heat pump has been struggling to keep the house cool during this heat wave (having a person come out Monday), so wanted to explore other options to see what the issue is and was looking into getting more/better attic insulation.
The HES says we have R-9, but one HVAC company says we at least have R-20. So wanted to get more. I found green savers online but a $150 consultation seems steep.
Anyone have any reccomendations for insualtion companies/people? Also curious if you've done it recently what the cost was?
