How are you taking care of your outdoor plants during heatwave?

Hey Neighbors, How are you all taking care of your outdoor plants/vegetables during the next 5 days of extreme heat? Most of mine are in small to big pots. Are you watering in the morning or late evening? Are you soaking real good? There’s no shade possible due to how they are situated.
I have a suspision that too many hot days in a row are going to do major damage. :(
