Philosophy around boundaries and autonomy
Post Body

Someone with a strong interest in philosophy told me once that my boundaries aren't valid because boundaries are about personal autonomy (the vibe of the comment was that my boundaries meant limitations on others in my interpersonal relationships and thus they were not valid). I'm no longer in contact with this person so I can't ask them, but I was wondering are there schools of thought that flesh this concept out?
