I'm familiar with Anscombe's argument against Truman and her criticism of him makes fine sense to me, but occasionally in papers about the Trolley Problem I see notes suggesting that Anscombe may have thought that the DDE did not justify pulling the lever in the non-looping trolley problem.
Is this reading common? If so, can someone point me toward a paper by her (or someone else) or a summary of this kind of reading which might deny that the DDE permits pulling the lever in the non-looping trolley problem?
