A question about Crito
Post Body

This is related to an essay regarding Hobbes and Crito.

In Crito does Socrates believe there is any situation where it would be justifiable for someone to try and escape death after being convicted?

I know he says that it is okay for someone to try and challenge the existing rules, and I believe The Laws even tell Socrates that by never trying to change the laws he affirmed that he like the Laws and therefore, him currently escaping would be unjust.

Since Socrates ends up on leaving clearly he doesn't think he is in such a position, but my question is, is there such a position where it would be just, according to socrates, to try and escape after being handed the death penalty?
