Why isn’t Education a more central area of concern in Philosophy?
Post Body

Reading Plato, he seems to emphasize education in dialogues such as Meno and Republic in asking whether concepts like virtue are teachable or what is the right education for a political leader. It does make sense that if Education is how knowledge is taught/learnt and Philosophy studies Knowledge, Education would be a central issue to Philosophy. My question is hence, why doesn’t Philosophy study the nature and aims of education more closely?
