This is a very Marxist question by design. Many Marxists see at least one essential task of communism as abolishing the value form. I tend to agree. However we know from feudalism and market socialists hope that this is compatible with the continued existence of some markets. How much can we keep markets while abolishing the value form, specifically within socialism?
