I’m not seeing any logical defense for egoism?
Post Body
I admit I don’t really know a ton about it. So if I’m coming at it from the wrong angle, I’d like to know.
If someone accepts egoism, they shouldn’t want anyone else to be, right? If you judge things by their utility in terms of self interest, then anyone around you who thinks that way - someone you may have to cooperate with - is bad news for you.
What’s the motivation to be an egoist?
