How is it possible the universe is infinite? If this were the case all possibilities have occurred, are occurring, and will occur. Wouldn’t this mean the possibility of an entity destroying the universe is inevitable?

A large contingent of philosophers believe the universe is infinite meaning that every possible outcome is currently occurring in the universe. A major paradox I see is if this were true the universe would have been destroyed.
