I'm using a CAD program called Fusion, the little-brother to AutoCAD and Inventor. Unlike their bigger brothers, Fusion has no way to define an arc's geometry by its length, only the distance between its start end points and/or its radius/diameter.
The good(ish) news is that these definitions ("dimensions" in CAD terms) can be defined with algebraic equations. Only problem is that I need to find both theta and then the arc-length in a single equation.
It's been long enough since middle school that I'm not going to be confident coming up with an answer on my own, so I'm asking here. Thanks in advance~
Note: Theta will always be less than 180 degrees (in my use case).
