Is there any way to list all the k-subset of a vector and write it in terms of matrix notation? Example:

Given the image above, vector a contains n = 4 elements. I want to return a vector containing n choose k elements. At k = 2, the components of the vector are the elements of the strict upper triangular matrix of the inner product of a and itself.
