How do you write y in terms of x in this expression?

Post Body

I am trying to isolate y and write it as a function of x. Both x and y are real angles in a physical model of the Sun-Earth system. R, RE, and RA are all constant terms. I have tried to cancel the terms and use the angle addition identity but to no avail. Is there some trig identity that I missed, or is this just simply too complicated to be solved?
