How would you react?
Would you fire her? (I'm not talking about jobs that require higher morality such as teachers or religious environments).
Would this become an issue in the workplace? Assume the employee is not at all discussing her other job or doing anything related to her stripping job on company time.
Suppose she's been stripping for at least a year since she joined the company. No one knew except one time another employee stumbled on her during a weekend. And that employee tells you about it, what'd you do?
I'm sure once an employee is discovered to be a stripper, there's the rumor mill.
Thoughts from a managers perspective?
EDIT: Here's the plot twist you'd all love. I'm the stripper. I started stripping after I got laid off to pay the bills and save. I was just wondering if I get a civilian job outside the industry, would my stripping get me fired. I plan to strip on weekends as long as I can but my full-time job will be my priority.
I hear about OF girls getting fired all the time, and most of them are teachers. They need to pay teachers better. And quit this ridiculous expectation.
One time a friend of mine came in with his buddies and recognized me. He was too drunk to care. He says he doesn't see me any differently but wondered if I'm uncomfortable with him. I'm cool with it. But when I'm on stage he'll go for a smoke.
That made me wonder if I get a job, what could happen if a coworker discovers. I was curious to see how everyone perceives this.
Honestly it's the best paying 2nd job I ever had. I didn't have experience when I started.
I'm sometimes angry at how I get paid almost the same or even higher than a job that requires a college education and min 5 years experience.
I just saw an opportunity and I can't do it later in life. I'm in my 40s. There are older dancers like one woman in her late 50s who dances and makes good money. But I don't see myself dancing that long.
Haha. Actually I'm the stripper. I was curious to know how most people perceive this these days.
Nobody in my workplace knows I do that. But I wondered what if that happens. This happened to another stripper coworker.
Times have changed for sure. I'm glad to see majority of the responses say to mind own business. Sadly I saw 2 responses where the moonlighter would get fired.
I had to do what I needed to do. I'm getting older and can't dance for long. Till I get "settled" and paid enough I'm dancing.
Stripping is unpredictable. Some days, yes you could make more but less in other days. It's not cool to do that. She needed to prioritize.

I agree with you 100%. I'm actually the stripper. Sadly the old double standards still exist.
