Texas. Question about joint custody

I have joint custody of my two youngest children with my ex husband. He and his current wife are about to have a baby (in October). He's trying to state that according to the divorce that I will have to keep the children when she's in labor. I understand this sounds petty but he's not having the baby so why am I going to have to disrupt my life? Is he not responsible for finding coverage with his family/friends/etc when the time comes?
