For context, me and my family have traveled upstate by car, so we have an 8 hour drive ahead of us. My father is the one who drove us up here and he was the one who contracted Covid. Our hotel (part of the Marriott chain) gave us 24 hours to check out of our hotel room. I’m worried about making the drive back. We’re not sure whether the rest of us are also infected, and I’m concerned how being sick might inhibit our abilities to drive. Are hotels allowed to do this? I thought they’d have us quarantine, but it just seems like they’re kicking us out.
Anyone who works at hotels, can you tell me if this is normal? Are we really safe to drive the 8-hours home?
All the down votes, do you screen for HIV or Hepatitis carriers on checkin?

Book another hotel, shut up until you leave. At that time you tell them someone had flu like symptoms
