How do you get those high paying hotel jobs?

I work front desk at a small 3-Star hotel in NYC. The pay is…. eh. It’ll go further in a cheaper part of the country, but NYC is very expensive. I’ve seen some hotels paying $25-30 an hour for front desk. Those seem to be mainly at 4 and 5 star hotels. How do you get those jobs?
