Should I focus on finding a partner in early 20s if I want a committed relationship long term

Post Body

I recently saw a YouTube video where a gay YouTuber who was 25 going on 26 said he wished he didn’t pass on the good guys when he was young and they weren’t taken yet and that for him he found the pickings of good gay guys to be slim. To me this was a little stressful and I have no idea how true it is but I have seen a lot of gay guys being single in there 30s and 40s. Has anyone experienced this? Also, would this apply to gen Z as much considering the larger number of gays?
