Tried to think of a more elegant way to write the title of this thread, but failed.
Basically, what is something about yourself that people compliment you for, but which you don't really consider or care about, or perhaps even dislike about yourself?
For me it would be my glasses. I'm actually annoyed at how I'm associated with them, because it was only a few years back that I began wearing them all the time. I don't consider them a characteristic of mine, just an accessory I wear so that I'm actually able to see. To me, knowing that a guy likes me for wearing glasses is the same as them liking me for using inhalers. I'm actually saving money for laser eye surgery so that I can finally not have to wear them anymore. Plus, they hide my eyebrows, which I personally think look good.
