Trying to get a twinkish body

I’m 18, 5’9, and 170lbs. I feel like I’m in between looking like a twink and chubby. I’ve started working out at least 5 times a week, but I’m not sure if I’m doing the right exercises to slim my body in the right places. I want to lose somewhere between 30-40lbs at least by the end of the year. Currently I’ve been doing a lot of cardio like running to burn a lot of my fat deposits, but it doesn’t feel enough. What should I really be focusing on?
