So my ex (X) and I broke up… 4 months ago? And we’ve put effort into maintaining a friendship. I’ve gotten over him, I think. But I do miss being in a relationship.

Anyway he’s been dating his new boyfriend (B) for a while, and I guess it’s been a bit rocky, to the point where X has told me he’s probably breaking up with B.

But they haven’t, and the same qualities that have made X reconsider their relationship are ones that drive me up the wall.

Can I tell X that I don’t like B without losing my friend? Will whatever I say be ignored because I’m also the ex?
