People on apps don’t really want to know about me
Post Body

When i go on apps like scruff/bumble, I’ll make the occasional connection like a match or a mutual woof. After the small talk in the first few messages, i try to ask questions that either reflect something in their profile or sometimes something related to hobbies/interests I’m into (to get their perspective).

Most if not all the time, i don’t really get anything back from them aside from my question directed back to me. I think it would help with the connection to see that they have expressed interest beyond.

What am i doing wrong? Is it just the nature of these apps? Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place
