I'm from LA and I'm so exhausted from the typical gay club scene that plays electronic/pop remixes it's so boring when every club you go to has the same music. I know there are leather bars which atleast offer some diversity when it comes to this but overall it's just so tiring. Pre-pandemic I used to love going to straight clubs because they played Hip-hop / Reggaeton etc. so that was super fun but it's not the same and it sucks we don't really have stuff like this in the gay community here. There were some events but there were far and few in between. I know there's demand for this and an overwhelming amount of brown and black folk I've talked too in the past also share this same sentiment but I guess almost everyone's idea of gay music is the aforementioned genres. Is this an LA thing or does this happen where you are from as well ??
