The other day I was hanging out with my friends and during one conversation Friend A (straight) told Friend B (gay) that it's a good thing the latter is gay because he wouldn't be able to get with a woman based on his looks. This was said jokingly, and was more a comment on how Friend B has let himself go during the pandemic. Although a lighthearted conversation, Friend B was noticeably annoyed, not at the comment about his body, but more the implication that he couldn't attract women.
I was wondering how much do gay guys care about their ability to attract women? As a bi guy I obviously do care, but with gay guys I suppose some might care a little and others don't give a fuck?
Also, I found it funny how some of my straight friends actually do care about being attractive to gay guys. I remember one asking me what I thought of him and I said I had absolutely no interest, and it was obvious that he was offended by that lmao.
