So two of my friends (heterosexuals) were dating for around 8 years, were engaged, but now they’re broken up. I met them through a mutual friend, so I’ve always felt like they were “equal friends” in my eyes. I’m beginning to think staying friends with both isn’t possible.

Even more awkward, the guy in the relationship and I were hanging out and he started talking about their sexual relationship. Apparently they hadn’t had any sort of intimacy in the last three years of their relationship, and he admitted that he didn’t cheat on her. And as the awkward moment continued, he confessed that it had been so long for him that he really needed a release and asked if he could fuck me. I played it off and left shortly after the proposition, but truthfully I’ve always thought he was hot. What do you guys think I should do? Give up the booty or keep things strictly platonic?

I feel like I’m in a super awkward position, especially since I’ve been friends with him and his now ex for 8 years.
