Should I slide into his DM's?
Post Body

Hey guys I am here to seek advice.

So I met with a guy at work yesterday (I work in the entertainment industry so we work on short projects with different people each time) he seemed pretty nice and cute but since we were at work I just kept it professional, greeted him, and proceeded to do my job. And after an hour or so I checked Grindr and he was on top of the grid. We both checked each other's profiles and didn't interact on the app. (His profile didn't really have any information other than some photos and his height so I wasn't really sure about our 'compatibility') We have bumped into each other but didn't really chat or anything so I assumed he might not be interested and didn't think too much of it. Coming back to work after lunch we were in the same room just waiting around so he asked 'How's it going' and etc. so we had a very chill exchange. And that was pretty much it. I kinda regret not making any moves but with all the surgical masks and other stuff, it's really hard to read someone's reactions so I wasn't really sure if he was interested to flirt.

Today I decided to follow him on Instagram. I assumed if I take the first step he might follow me back and start a conversation. He did follow me back but that was it. So now I am not sure if I should slide into his DM's or just let it go since it doesn't look like he is willing to take any steps. But even if I slide into his DM's I am not really sure what to say exactly.

So what do you guys think? Just give up? Or what should I say?
