Missed a PEP dose

I had a stressful week because of academics while I was on PEP, lost track of time since I had so much requirements to complete and that made me miss my PEP dose an 2-3 hours later. Will my PEP be ineffective to me now? Ever since then I've been taking my PEP on time.
