I want to keep this short but you can ask questions if you have them.

I’ve been seeing/talking to a guy for 2 months. In the first three weeks we hung out about five times and texted a lot. Then he went to jail for some possession charges for about two weeks, during which we didn’t talk much. He then went on an ankle bracelet until yesterday. We hung out about five more times at his place of employment while he was on the bracelet and talked on the phone a lot.

I really like him but verbally the relationship seems one-sided. He doesn’t reciprocate feelings of caring/understanding very often. But he initiates contact with me and asks to hang out.

There have been some things that have made me suspect he may have another guy in his life. We don’t have any agreement of exclusivity but I have made it known how I feel about him and he assured me he likes me and isn’t leading me on.

Since he’s been off the bracelet ( a little over a day) we haven’t talked much. I did text him last night to see if he was officially free and he didn’t respond until morning about 12 hours later.

Should I make first contact or wait for him to make first contact?/ Should I try to ask him about another possible guy being in his life or should I just ride it out, hang out with him some more now that he can actually hang, and see what happens?
