Health/Fitness advice needed!

I have, for the longest, been over weight for my age, but I’ve gotten over the feeling of hating my body. In fact, I can now say that I am proud of being a chubby cub, but I am now beginning to feel concerned about my health. I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want this change to go and I want to bulk up instead of slimming down. So my questions are: -Is there a way to keep a thick figure with out being too heavy? -If so, how did y’all get there (assuming some Of you went through this change) -and what do I do to start in terms of building stamina and resisting soreness?

I am very determined to make this change in my life, and y’alls advice would’ve much appreciated! 😁
