He keeps apologizing for not responding to my text but then continues to ignore me

What should I do, Iām talking to this guy and he goes sometimes 12 hours without responding then says āsorry for being a assholeā āsorry for the late responseā I want to think heās into me but his actions arenāt showing it...and how hard is it to say āhey Iām busy Iāll talk to you laterā etc. should I just drop him or take his apologies serious and forgive him
