I can’t explain it but I find myself eyerolling at virtually anything queer related. Is it my age?
For context I would have definitely be considered a queer when I was younger- perhaps I just grew out of it.
But I’m not sure anymore, I feel like ‘queer’ is just a uniform now. It doesn’t really mean anything other than a clothing . A bit like how Emos all look identical, so do queers. Maybe that’s why I just can’t engage with it anymore- and let’s face it, a blue beard isn’t flattering on anyone.
To clarify I don’t dislike queers, I just find the whole thing a bit cheesy and naff now.
Can anyone else relate?
