I keep seeing arguments that even though there are genetics that make people more predisposed to being gay there are more environmental factors to being gay. This is used to discredit the idea of being born gay. But environmental factors isn't the opposite of genetics, it actually works in tandem. Environmental factors can effect rather a gene is more or less active. This is known as epigenetics. The study on how birth order can potentially increase the chances of you being gay is a good example of this.
