Am I right to be pissed about this?

On Grindr:

• two/three years ago I talk to hot guy. Conversations were brief. I thought he was hot, but he acted aloof so it never really went anywhere and we didn’t meet up.
• I have a different boyfriend for two years. We break up.
• I find hot guy on Grindr from two/three years ago and say hello. I do have some new photos, but otherwise nothing has really changed. I generally still look the same, except for maybe a little bit of weight loss. All of a sudden, he’s super into me and wants to meet up immediately.
• Hot guy and I go on first date. He was a gentleman. Really nice guy. Makes out with me after first date. Texts me after to say he enjoyed making out. Immediately makes plans for date two.
• Next day he sends me a sexy photo. It’s not a full on nude, but I can see the upper part of his dick. It’s meant to be super suggestive. He tells me he’s horny. (He is also now 40 minutes away and didn’t make any moves on our date when we were together. lol.)
• I say the photo is hot but I don’t really have any suggestive without full on explicit photos ready to go, so I don’t send any back to him because I like him and I want him to take me seriously. We don’t have sex that day because he’s far away.
• I’m out of town the following weekend, so texting conversations kind of slows down quite a bit but don’t stop because we basically take a two week break.
• We meet up for dinner and a comedy show the weekend after I come back from traveling. He says he’s excited to see me the day before. But I get there and he refuses to kiss me when I arrive (turns his face when I go in for a hello peck), which struck me as odd/a sign of disinterest. We finish dinner, and he asks me to take a selfie outside the restaurant, which struck me as odd given the earlier sign of disinterest as this feels like a sign of interest.
• Then we go to the comedy show. It was terrible. It was his idea. He picked it out. It’s kind of not surprising to me that it was terrible, but I was trying to be flexible. So, we do that, and it’s obvious he didn’t enjoy it. Afterward, he very quickly says he’s going to go home, then leaves abruptly without kissing me. I text him thank you for the date and say I would like to see him again. He texts me back to say thank you for hanging out and get home soon, which is not a good sign.
• 24 hours go by. He says he wants to be friends only because there’s no sexual spark. I’m pissed, because clearly there is unless he was faking it, and I feel like I just went on a rollercoaster ride of indifference then strong interest then indifference.

Why do people do shit like this? I’m just angry now.
