This is more of a rant... I've been "friends" with this guy for a few months now. At first he wanted to date but I was too scared to commit. We stayed fwb for a while until he said he wanted to take a break from doing anything. So we stopped for a while until the next time we hung out. We were cuddling and watching a movie then all of a sudden we were making out. I swear neither of us could stay off each other. We took things further, then he went home, and I sent a long text, apologizing for brushing him off at first and explaining my true feelings. Only for him to say we work better as friends. I feel awful. I definitely misread things and I hope I didn't say or do anything that upset him. I wish things could go back to the way they were, but I know they seldom do after a confession like that. I just want him to be a part of my life, friend or otherwise
