Why did he ghost me?

He said he wants a real relationship with me (which is what I'm looking for). 1 hour later, after a chat, he then ghosts me while we're having phone sex (20 minutes into our phone sex). I'm so devastated..... We were into each other, so why would he just ghost me like that?
