I travel for work for most of the year. Unfortunately, this year, I’m not home for the holidays, for the first time in 20 years my husband will be alone on Christmas, and he’s super down about it.
I don’t know what to do 😩
Do I send him something? Do I take NYE off and book a flight home to surprise him?
We usually aren’t in this situation because I’m home every 3 weeks for 5 days and then back on the road, and I’m usually always home for the holiday season, so I don’t know what to do to make him feel better. I’m 2,500 miles away from home, and there’s no way I can get a flight out of here tonight.
Any suggestions on how I can do something special for him over the next few days I’m open to. I thought about flowers, or a nice gift delivered but it feels like such an easy way out, and I have no creative inspiration.
Help me bros.
