So I have a boyfriend I've been dating for a little over 4 years now and he will often give me money just bc, like if I want something or food he'll buy me it ,or he will sometimes just give me cash / pay for my things or reimburse me at times .mind you it's not all the time tho.

And one of his friends ( my bf told me ) finds it odd that he pays for so many of my things . His friend said he dosent pay for any of his partners stuff like that and it'd weird that my bf does it especially like paying fir my travel expenses too. His friend says I shouldn't be so dependent on him and learn to stand on my own.

Also it's not like I don't have my own money I have a decent job nothing really fancy I just work retail but yk ?
