Hey everyone,
I recently signed up for an OnlyFans creator account because I’ve been really excited about the idea of putting myself out there, creating content, and exploring something I’ve always been curious about. It feels like a way to express myself while also earning some extra cash.
But my boyfriend is not on board. As soon as I told him about it, he got really upset and said that if I don’t shut it down, he’ll break up with me. He thinks it’s disrespectful to our relationship and makes him uncomfortable.
Here’s the thing: I love my boyfriend, and I don’t want to lose him. But I also feel like this is something I really want to try, and it sucks to feel like I have to choose between him and this new opportunity.
I’ve tried explaining to him that it’s not about disrespecting our relationship or seeking attention from others, but he doesn’t see it that way. He feels like this is a hard boundary for him, and I don’t know how to navigate this without one of us feeling like we’re compromising too much.
For those of you who’ve dealt with similar situations, how do you balance personal goals or projects with your relationship? Is there a way to make him understand, or is this one of those irreconcilable differences? I’m feeling really torn and could use some outside perspective.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
