What are your experiences with hookups coming from places like Sniffies, et al?

Have you ever had a great hookup where you both appeared to have a great time (after a lot of online chatting beforehand), and then just radio silence after agreeing it was fun and you'd like to meet again? Or worse, you just get blocked sometime after your hookup ends?

Like we're all grown-ups here. Guys don't need to fawn over someone in chat just to have a chance to get in their pants and then blow them off (and not in the good way). Didn't we leave that sort of BS back in high school?

I know it's reality that there are going to be guys who are genuinely interested in meeting again, but also have a long list of pending hookups. But there also seem to be a group of guys in these apps who are just trying to increase their body count like it's some sort of Olympic competition prep.

Like, I'm fine if someone has on their profile that they're only looking for one-off hookups. That's good and fun. But it's also nice to have some recurring guys kept available in the bull pen, especially for those times that a potential hookup suddenly flakes on you.
