Male coworker doesn’t want me keeping a distance
Post Body

Hi my fellow brothers. Hope yall are well. It’s been some time since I posted.

Well if y’all were to look at my previous post it has got to do with the same coworker.

I told him a few weeks ago that we need to keep a distance because I need it for myself to get over him. I have not had sex nor have I went on dates for almost a year because of how I felt for him.

Side note:- he knows about this because when I told him, he said well it’s a good thing. When I asked him what am I saving myself for? he replied saying that I should save myself for him. I dismissed it and laughed.

Moving forward I did keep my distance and he honestly looked like he was mourning the death of someone close to him. Even I felt bad but I had to see it through. This went on for about 2 weeks and he tried his best talking to me which I kept it professional.

One day he took me aside and told me that he can’t stand us not talking and he needs me. He got emotional which made me emotional and we cried.

I just told him again how the love I felt for him was pure but I don’t want to affect his marriage, he said that he understands but he needs me.

I just said well we could go back to how our interactions used to be but it’ll be baby steps.

I am honestly so confused with everything.

I feel like this will destroy me but how do I honestly keep a distance without ruining the friendship? 😔

I am sorry if this sounds cliche but I genuinely do not know how to go about this
