So I’ve been in the hook-up scene for 7 years(was living alone in another city) now as i am back into my hometown with family and friends around and with a respectable job in the same town i find it even more risky to hook up During my years of hook-up I’ve been robbed, blackmailed, taken advantage of, etc… And now i threw it all behind because i left that city But that cant happen here and now, i’m in a small city so if anything happened i would be done for good..especially that i live in a homophobic islamic country so the law wouldnt be by my side..instead i would be the guilty one

I read many posts about safety for hook-ups and meeting the person outside first etc.. But one of the times i was robbed previously was by a man we hooked up for over 10 times

My question is, is hooking up worth it these days with all the shit going on around and all the money hungry people? Or i should just stick to the guys i already know previously and casually hook up with THEM every now and then?
