I went on a date with a guy I had been chatting with for about a week on Grindr. After dinner, we went back to his place, and when things started getting intimate, I realized he was trans and this is something he never mentioned beforehand.

I told him I felt uncomfortable and was not interested and brought up that he hadn’t disclosed this to me, but he got upset and called me transphobic. Things escalated when he tried to push me onto the bed, saying I had to go through with it. I panicked, pushed him off, grabbed my things, and ran out.

I feel so disgusted and betrayed that he led me into believe he was just a guy and wasn’t upfront with me that he was trans, and now I’m struggling with trust issues. I don’t know how to process it all.

Has anyone been in a similar situation that could offer advice on how to process this?
