Looking for advice or if I should even do it, I (20M) and my boyfriend of 3 years (20M) have been together for three years, but have had penetrative sex about 5 times total. He seems almost completely disinterested in sexual activity and has recently told me he has no interest in penetration anymore, which has kind of left me feeling unwanted and frustrated.

The past 3 years of my life have been so formative but I have so much I want to experience, is there any advice about possibly asking for an open relationship? My libido has recently increased from fairly low to fairly high, but I don’t know if it’s temporary or not, I feel like I just want to have a fulfilling sex life while I’m in my “prime”, but I really do love my boyfriend and my only limited experiences have been with him. I’m torn
