I’m a sophomore in college, and I think I’ve fallen for my roommate. We’re really close—he calls me cute all the time, and we’re touchy in a way that feels so natural and comforting. Honestly, I love the way he touches me, and those moments feel so real to me.

The problem is, I don’t know if he feels the same or if he’s just naturally affectionate or even if he is gay. I’m scared to ruin what we have by confessing, but at the same time, I don’t want to keep this bottled up forever.

How do I approach this? Should I just come clean about my feelings, or is there a way to figure out where he stands without making things awkward? Any advice would mean a lot! I'm from India btw.
