This is gonna be a weird one. I’m a guy, seeing another guy; we aren’t committed or anything yet but I love our dates and being out with him.
It feels amazing when I tell someone that HE recommended something (basically using the pronoun for him).
The trouble is, it doesn’t come naturally! In the back of my head I’m still going she/her.
Ive never been in a relationship with a girl (or a guy before) so I guess it just comes from the typical heterosexual upbringing.
It worries me, though. Is this okay? Is it gonna go away eventually? I haven’t blurted out the wrong pronoun in front of him or anyone else, thankfully!
I don’t wanna do that and hurt him, though.
TL;DR: The back of my head is wanting to use she/her for the guy I’m seeing.
