This year marks 10 years since I realized that I was gay and it’s crazy how I found out. I was 12 or 13, home alone after school and I was talking to my online friends on my family desktop. One friend of mine was into anime, specifically yaoi which is like gay anime. She mentions it all the time but I never bothered to research what that is. So one day I was like “fuck it” and went on Google. I skimmed through the search results but should’ve read a little more because I clicked Images.

It was just hot anime men drawn having sex with each other, uncensored and all. I was like “????????” and kinda repulsed and scared but kept scrolling for a min and then I exited out. Mid-shock I realized that I was hard. I grew up in a religious household and very sheltered but having lots of unsupervised access to the internet allowed me to learn a lot about life on my own.

That was also my first exposure to pornography. Ever since then… 🤧
